Eggnog Cheesecake Recipe

I have never made cheesecake. Since the Christmas is fast approaching, I decided to try making cheesecake with a little bit of eggnog.

You will need to make sure the cream cheese is softened. I didn’t quite wait long enough.

  • 1½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 4 - 8 oz. packages of cream cheese, softened
  • ⅔ cup sugar
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • Ground nutmeg
  1. Mix the graham cracker crumbs, butter, and 1 tablespoon of sugar in a small bowl.
  2. Press the crumbs into a 9x13 pan.
  3. Beat the cream cheese, ⅔ cup of sugar, eggnog and vanilla together.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed.
  5. Gently pour the mixture over the crumb crust
  6. Bake at 325 for 45 minutes.
  7. Let the cheesecake cool, then place in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
  8. Add the nutmeg to the top of the cheesecake before serving.
